POWERING U.S. INNOVATION
New Energy Solar is dedicated to building a portfolio of large scale solar PV plants with contracted revenue flows with quality off-takers.
EXPLORE OUR INVESTMENTS
To date, the business has acquired substantial investments in the North Carolina 43 MW Plant, North Carolina 47 MW Plant, Stanford 67.4 MW Plant and TID 67.4 MW Plant. Each consists of a series of PV modules that convert solar energy from the sun into electricity. They utilise single-axis trackers – tilting structures that solar modules are mounted upon to track the angle of the sun to maximise power generation. The direct current produced by the PV module converts the electricity to alternating current before exporting the electricity to the grid where it can be transported to end-users.
BUILDING A SOLAR FUTURE
With four plants now in operation, we have identified a significant pipeline of further investment opportunities in the US and Australia. We also continue to assess and perform due diligence on a number of attractive potential acquisitions in Asia. Many plants in this pipeline could offer similar, attractive risk-adjusted returns to the existing portfolio.
