Max Korber

Max joined NES in September 2017. In his role as an analyst, Max provides market commentary and reporting to investors and assists with structuring transactions and market research.

Max has worked with the Evans Dixon Group since 2015, most recently as an analyst within Dixon Advisory’s Investment Advisory team where he assisted clients with investment advice, ongoing stock monitoring and executing trades.

Max holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University and is accredited by the Stockbrokers Association of Australia.

Paul Whitacre

Paul joined New Energy Solar as Asset Manager in November 2017 to lead asset management activities.  He has more than 37 years’ experience in a variety of operational, engineering, construction, projects, business development and commercial management roles within the power generation, consulting and insurance industries.

Daniel Leung

Daniel is currently Fund Accounting Manager at Walsh & Company, with a specific responsibility for New Energy Solar. Daniel is a chartered accountant with extensive experience in financial & management reporting and decision support analysis across the infrastructure, property and financial services sectors.

James Diversi

James joined NES in February 2017, after completing his studies at university. In his role, James focuses on market research, financial modelling, transaction coordination, and preparation of investor presentation materials. Prior to joining NES, and whilst completing his studies, James completed an internship in portfolio management at a large asset management firm. James holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.

Jarrod Kiven

Jarrod joined NES in February 2017, relocating to the US in order to help establish the NES New York City office. His role includes the analysis of market trends, structuring of acquisitions and assisting in the ongoing management of acquired assets. Jarrod has been part of the Evans Dixon Group since 2015, where he most recently worked in the Corporate Finance Team at Walsh & Company, assisting in the execution of a variety of equity and debt market transactions.

Jarrod holds a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Accounting and Finance from The University of Melbourne.

Francis del Villar

Francis joined NES in September 2016, focusing on transaction execution and asset management for new and existing fund investments. Francis has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions across a wide range of infrastructure related sectors including electricity generation, electricity and gas transmission and distribution and transportation.          

Liam Thomas

Liam joined New Energy Solar as Director – Investments in March 2016, to lead transaction origination and execution activities. Liam has over 14 years’ experience in M&A, corporate and business development, projects, and commercial management in the energy, infrastructure, mining and agribusiness sectors.   

Tom Kline

Tom was the inaugural CEO of NES, having launched the business in December 2015, in his then role as Chief Operating Officer of Walsh & Company. Tom relocated to the US in April 2017 to oversee the operation of NES’ portfolio of solar power projects in California and North Carolina. Tom will also guide the business’ continued investment in North American projects.
